My uncle suffered a stroke a few years back and it lefted him partially paralyzed on the left side of his body. He applied for social security benefits and was denied. He is a veteran of the vietnam war and cannot recieve benefits because as I read on the website you must be living in an assisted living facility or have a home health aide that is not a family member with supported doctor statements. I am trying to help because he is having a very hard time. His wife had an aneurism and has been hospitalized for three years. The money he recieves on her behalf goes to totally towards keeping her there. He is in danger of losing his home soon so if there is any information on how he can recieve help please let me know.
